Sesame street live was yesterday and it was so fun. Brad, Cameron, Noah and I went while Alex went to eat with Brad's mom for Kevin (nephew)'s 24th birthday. Okay, that is just too scary to have a 24 year old nephew! Anyways, Noah did great..it was his first time to see anything like that and he seemed to enjoy it. He was a little antsy from time to time and at the end looked at me and said, "I want to go home!", but I think that was because they started sing about how great home is. We had a good time and afterwards went to the skate park.

Little Lance!

I cannot believe I have not blogged about this, but about a week and a half ago Noah completely learned how to ride a bike with no training wheels! Can you believe that? I am going to post a video later. Brad and all 3 boys just went to the skate park so I should have a video when they get back...we just got a little video camera. They told Brad at the Richardson Bike Shop (?) when he was buying Noah's $200 bike (yes, I am serious) that it was impossible for a two year old to learn to ride a bike without training wheels. That was all Brad needed to hear!

Brag on Cameron is that his last report card was mostly A's and a few B's..he has decided he is going to work really hard and try and get a college scholarship. I am very proud of him.

Alex is doing well, too. He is a little ahead of the other juniors in credit so during his senior year he is going to do the work program and hopefully save for a car so he is not riding the bus to college! He is doing great, way better than I was at that age..it is hard to be a teenager.

Brad is doing great, too. He is the best dad I have ever seen. I mean that. He spends ALL his free time with his kids and loves all 3 of them so much. They are very lucky and so am I.

ME, now. I am taking College Algebra right now and actually doing great. I got a 90 on the first test and the second test is this week and I feel pretty confident about it. Hey, maybe I am not stupid after all! Just kidding, of course I am not. I am excited about school and can't wait to get to UNT..hopefully next spring. I still have a few more classes to take at Brookhaven. Boring ones. BUT I find myself sometimes actually enjoying Algebra which is absolutely crazy, I know.

We had so much fun today at the celebrity waiter dinner that one of Brad's students put together completely by herself. It was at Red Robin and the meal was free and you made a donation..while the celebrities waited on you! All the tips went to Cooke's Children's Hospital. It was so neat to get to be a part of it and we had fun! We won 2 of the raffle prizes..yay! And it was such a wonderful way to give back.

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!

Kathy and I went to see Phantom of the Opera last night. It was both of our second time to see it and both times we were together. It was awesome. I love the music, its so beautiful and powerful. I always get goosebumps when they come out at the end and get a standing ovation. I can't imagine what that would feel like. I think I would have loved acting on the stage. Maybe in my next life! With my luck though I'll come back as a flea or something. Anyways, we had so much fun..we ate there before it started and laughed so much like we always do! I can't wait for the next musical.

SNOW DAY!

Everyone really enjoyed the beautiful snow we got the other day. I have never in my life seen so many snow men! Cameron built one and so did Brad. Lots of fun for one day, but don't know how people deal with it all of the time. Probably the same way we deal with the scorching heat..lots of complaining!
