First day of school

Well, today was the first day of school. I walked with Cameron..well, not exactly with...I was actually walking way behind him because he was too embarrassed to be seen with me! I didn't mind though! He did awesome on his first day of middle school. His favorite part was the food...so much variety! He said his locker was easy and switching classes was a breeze, so I guess I worried for nothing...YAH!!!

Alex's first day was great too. He got "hit on" all day by hot girls...I guess the blond highlights were a hit! Okay, yes I know, I am dork! He showed me a text from some girl that said how good he looks this year. I have to admit...he's quite a cutie! He said the only drawback to today was the inconvenience of having to listen to those annoying teachers just going on and on...

While they were at school I went to the gym with Brad then when Brad went to work Noah and I went to the mall to play and me mingle with other moms. He was so cute...as you can see in the picture.

I have to go now and fill out and sign about 3 million papers. Bye!!

Fun at "PUMP IT UP"!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night was so much fun. Alex's friend Nick spent the night and Brad stayed home with them and Noah while I took Cameron to his friend's birthday party at Pump It Up. We had so much fun. Its just like a bunch of different bounce houses with slides and yes, of course, I jumped! My friend Leslie and I had so much fun jumping and being silly with our boys. It made me feel so old because my heart was pounding so fast I thought I would have a heart attack! Sometimes I forget how fun it is to let loose and be a kid again. Cameron and the other boys had so much fun. A few of them were a little wild though, of course not my little angel!! I felt so sorry for the poor host, right after cake they panced the poor guy! That's right, they pulled his pants down! That in all seriousness was not Cameron, thank God!! Anyways, it was fun. Now we are just waiting for the first day of school tomorrow. I'm so sad. I'll miss the summer and I can't believe Cam is in middle school now...I keep thinking of that little show The Wonder Years! Okay, gotta go before my tears ruin the keyboard!

LOOK OUT! ALEX GOT A CAR!!!!!!!!

Brad brought Alex's car home today:) He is so excited. Brad put a cd player in it and got some seat covers for it that look awesome. I can't believe how fast time goes. It seems like just yesterday he was a baby and I would rock him in my parents lazy boy and watch Madonna videos with him all day! Poor kid!! He really is a sweet boy and I am happy for him. I am also proud of Brad for loving Alex so much that it was important to him that Alex have a car to call his own when the time comes....which right now is around March so I'm not in a complete panic quite yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kids grow up so fast even sometimes when it feels like life is going by slowly, its really flying by faster than you can imagine.

Boring Thursday....

Well, today was pretty boring around here. I didn't feel well this morning so I skipped going to the gym. I wish I had just gone because it set the tone for sort of a blahhh day. Alex hung out with his friend for most the day, until Cameron came back from Grandmother and Papa's house, then Alex went to spend the night there. I think it is so cool that a 16 year old boy still wants to spend the night with his grandparents. I was like that too, I always loved my Granny. Not much to say, hopefully next time will be more interesting...I'm sure it will because boring in the Locke house is verrrrryyy rare!!!!

I'm an official blogger now!!

Wow!! My first blog...yah!!

Today was very exciting for Noah. He fed himself with a spoon mashed potatoes. It was so cute, however I think we need a little more practice before we use our new skill in public!! Hmmm, let's see what else, bear with me I'm new at this....OH, I know Noah climbed up the stairs (mommy close behind) all by himself. He is such a big boy now!!! Cameron went to spend the night with his Grandmother and Papa and Alex skate boarded all over town and went to visit Audrey (girl of the week). Something very awesome happened for him yesterday. He got his first car! Of course we don't hand over keys until he gets his licence and he still has to do drivers ed, but he has a car now waiting for him. The thought of the whole thing is about the most terrifying thing I can think of. I will be praying nonstop when the time comes. We are not letting him do drivers ed until after Christmas so we have a little time. Anyway, I guess that's all for today. Not bad for my first blog!!!
