Spring Break

Spring Break is just about over. We had a great one. We went to the zoo on Monday which was kind of annoying because it was really crowded and we brought a grouchy teenager and apparantly it was really embarrassing being there with us. Oh, well. Noah loved it though. He was so excited. When we looked at the giant turtles, Noah exclaimed, "Oh, no! The turtles mouth fell off!" I had to explain to him that the turtles mouth was fine and that his head just went back into his shell. His big brother, Cameron, even bought him a toy from the souvineer shop with his own money.
On Wednesday, we went on a picnic and a long bike ride. That day all together Noah rode his bike over 5 miles. I took poor Marcella, our dog, on a walk that day and I thought Brad was going to have to go get the car and come pick us up! She is old and very overweight. I hope she does not read this because she would be extremely offended. Friday, I took Alex and Cameron and Cam's friend Ricky who spent the night to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. It was way better than I thought it would be. Alex wanted to see it at the IMAX, but that was $14 a person even the first showing. And every morning except Sat. Brad, Alex and Noah got up early and went to the skate park. Noah got a "sprinkle donut" every morning.
So, I am ready for the kids to go back to school and I guess I am even ready for Algebra. I have a serious love/hate relationship with that class!

I am very proud of Cameron. He is a part of a math video game club at school and today they had a tournament against 2 other middle schools and they won! Cameron said in the first game he got first place. He was very excited. I'm so glad they did well and that Cameron feels good about how he did.

Yesterday I got my test back from my last algebra test and I got 105! Can you believe that! I was so happy. I went and talked to a councilor and found out I can only take 4 more classes after this one at Brookhaven before I reach the max of 60 credits before I transfer to UNT. I am going to take those classes next fall and then transfer in the spring. Yay! I am so excited..I also will have all my basics out of the way, too. I have so many psychology classes that I decided to major in social work and minor in psychology. I am very excited and I am going to go ahead and apply for my loans now. I am a little nervous about going to school and juggling the kids, Brad and the house..but I know I can do it..just take it one step at a time. Not going to be easy, but what is..I will acclimate. I can't believe someday I will actually have a degree.
